Anthony Louis Lapio, obituary
If you knew Anthony, you knew there was never going to be a dull moment when he was around. He had a personality that could fill a room. He was spunky, outgoing, funny, and just the right amount of crazy. He loved to joke, make people laugh, be silly, and—more often than not—see just how far he could take a dare. Anthony was the kind of person who didn't always do things the ordinary way, and that was part of what made him so unforgettable.
He loved being outdoors and was happiest when he was doing something with his hands or heading off on an adventure. He loved drawing, tattooing, building things, and working on vehicles. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle, dirt bikes, and four-wheelers, as well as camping, fishing, and pretty much anything that allowed him to be outside. He had a natural curiosity and a need to keep moving, creating, fixing, and experiencing life.
But underneath all of the jokes, the wild adventures, and his sometimes-crazy personality was a man with a genuinely big heart. Anthony loved fiercely. He was protective of the people he cared about and would stand up for those he loved without hesitation. Those closest to him knew that beneath his tough exterior was someone who cared deeply and loved in his own way.
Anthony leaves behind his wife, Ricci Lapio; his daughter, Iris Lapio; and his stepson, Jaxsyn Littlefield. He is also survived by his mother, Angela Stevens, and stepfather, Kevin Stevens; his brothers, Tyler Campbell and Brandon Stevens; his sister, Brianna Campbell; his grandmothers, Allison Hill and Diana Campbell; and his nephews, Hunter Campbell and Zavior Williams. He also leaves behind many extended family members and friends whose lives were touched by his presence.
There are some people who come into your life and leave quietly, and then there are people like Anthony—people who leave behind stories, laughter, memories, and a little bit of chaos everywhere they go. Anthony was one of those people. His life was far too short, but the memories he created will last a lifetime.
He will be missed in all the places where his voice, his laughter, his jokes, his stubbornness, and his unmistakable presence once filled the room. Those who loved him will carry the good memories, the crazy adventures, the laughter, and the love with them forever.
And, in true Anthony fashion, perhaps the only thing left to say is:
“So it goes.”
