Knox County Criminal Docket closed cases
ROCKLAND – The following cases were closed in Knox County Court from Aug. 28-Sept. 10.
Christopher Benner, 51, of Deer Isle, unlawful trafficking in scheduled drugs in Rockland Nov. 29, 2023, $400 fine, three years in jail with all but 48 hours suspended, probation two years.
Steve Clarke, 62, of Rockland, domestic violence assault, with priors, and domestic violence criminal threatening, with priors, both in Rockland June 29, 2025, both dismissed; disorderly conduct, offensive words, gestures in Rockland June 29, 2025, six months in jail.
Indira Corriveau, 48, of Rockland, domestic violence criminal threatening in Rockland June 28, 2026, dismissed.
Darrell W. Degreenia, 62, of Union, probation violation for prior conviction of theft by unauthorized taking or transfer in Washington June 8, 2023, six months in jail, probation partially revoked.
John Flower, 40, of Appleton, falsifying physical evidence, sentenced to time already served, in the murder of Kyle MacDougall in Cushing on July 7, 2024.
Flower was arrested on July 25, 2024 by the Maine State Police and charged with hindering apprehension or prosecution, a class B felony.
In September 2024, Flower pleaded guilty to the count of falsifying physical evidence. In exchange for a plea, the charge of hindering apprehension or prosecution was dismissed. He had already served 100 days in jail in 2024 after he was arrested and was released on the condition that he would testify in the murder trial of Jason Hewett in March 2026. He did not have to testify since Hewitt reached a plea deal with the state and a trial was avoided.
Justin Henry, 37, of Thomaston, domestic violence assault in Thomaston Nov. 8, 2024, dismissed; disorderly conduct, offensive words, gestures all in Thomaston Nov. 8, 2024, $300 fine.
Lewis Hickman, 32, of Union, domestic violence terrorizing in Rockland Dec. 11, 2024, 364 days in jail all suspended, probation one year.
Joseph Labelle, 58, of Waldoboro, theft by unauthorized use of property in Warren May 2, 2025, dismissed; violating condition of release in Warren May 2, 2025, $575 fine all suspended.
Howard C. Lacey, 44, of Appleton and Wiscasset, domestic violence assault and violating condition of release in Appleton Dec. 28, 2024, guilty on both counts; assault in Appleton Feb. 19, 2026, $300 fine; refusing to submit to arrest or detention, physical force, disorderly conduct, offensive words, gestures, and violating condition of release all in Appleton Feb. 19, 2026, all guilty.
Blair MacLeod, 39, of Rockland, aggravated trafficking in scheduled drugs and violating condition of release both on Vinalhaven Aug. 29, 2025, both dismissed.
Leianne Messina, 57, of Montville, protective order from harassment order and violating condition of release both in Warren Oct. 22, 2025, both dismissed; violating protective order from harassment violation in Warren July 20, 2025, 90 days in jail all suspended, probation one year.
Dennis Edward Rideout, 51, of Chelsea, terrorizing and disorderly conduct, offensive words, gestures all in Rockland June 10, 2025, both dismissed; harassment by telephone in Rockland June 10, 2025, $500 fine.
Jason L. Steeves, 51, of Warren, domestic violence assault and criminal threatening in South Thomaston Sept. 3, 2025, both guilty; criminal threatening and terrorizing both in South Thomaston Sept.3, 2025, both dismissed.
Katelyn D. Thomas, 25, of Rockland, unlawful possession of scheduled drug in Rockland June 25, 2021, dismissed.
