WALDOBORO — The cross country season opened Friday, Sept. 6 in Waldoboro for the cross country teams at Oceanside, Medomak Valley and Mount View. 

In the girls division, Medomak Valley finished third with a total time of 2:06:24.58. Oceanside did not place as a team. 

In the boys division, Medomak Valley finished fourth with a total time of 1:42:24.53. Oceanside and Mount View did not place as a team.
