BELFAST — Due to rainy conditions predicted for the end of this week, MaineHealth Waldo Hospital’s drive-thru flu clinic originally scheduled to take place Friday, Oct. 31, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., in the parking lot outside the Biscone Health Center, has been relocated.

The clinic will now take place inside the Biscone Health Center Community Room, located on the first floor at 119 Northport Ave. in Belfast. The clinic will remain open from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The clinic is open to the public and will offer both the standard-dose flu shot and the high-dose often favored by seniors. Adults 18 and older are welcome. Most insurances are accepted, and those with insurance should be sure to bring their insurance card. Some insurance plans only cover vaccines given by your doctor or at a limited set of locations, so consider checking with your insurance company first. Those without insurance can receive flu vaccines at no cost.
