Deborah Ann Kunesh, obituary
UNION — It is with a heavy heart and deep sorrow that we announce the passing of our beloved Deborah Ann Kunesh. She was affectionately referred to by many as Momma K or Grammy K, the one and only Mimi. Born in 1958, she was the daughter of Charles Glazier and Thelma Ramsey.
Debbie left us all too soon on Saturday, October 18, 2025, leaving behind a void that can never be filled. With her unexpected departure, she leaves a lifetime of memories. We will remember a life filled with immense love, compassion and caring. She was a devoted wife, proud mother and loving, doting grandmother. She was truly special, one of a kind. An aunt, a sister, a friend, a true confidant to anyone who was fortunate enough to have known her. She was everything to everyone. To have known her, was to love her.
Apart from her family, some of Debbie’s unforgettable times were spent breathing in the fresh air of the White Mountains on her annual trips to New Hampshire making fond memories with her kindred spirited friends. She felt most at home when she was near the water. Dating back to her younger years, her love of Pine Point Beach brought her solace, it was her happy place, her old stomping grounds. Living on the water, to visiting the tropical islands of Hawaii only grew her love and it was as deep and boundless as the body of water itself.
Debbie also took pride in her gardening, always eager after a long winter to get outside to tend her flower beds. She enjoyed sharing her green thumb by the display of forever thriving plants and beautiful flowers. Holidays, specifically Christmas, were among her favorite times, celebrating timeless traditions with her family. She especially looked forward to decorating, proudly sharing her passion. Her loved ones will now carry on the traditions that she held so near and dear to her heart. Aside from her life's passions, she took pride in her work as a dedicated rural postal carrier from 1999-2025. She knew most, if not all of her customers by first name and genuinely looked forward to seeing and chatting with them on her daily route.
She is survived by her husband, Alan Kunesh of Union; sons, Kevin and Karen Kunesh, their son Kolby of South Carolina, Scott and Nida Kunesh, their children Mckenzie and Nathaniel of Liberty, Kyle Kunesh of Union, Mark and Cameron Kunesh of Warren, their children Mark Jr., his wife Kelsea and their child Elliott Kunesh of Friendship, Hallie, Emma and Julia Kunesh of Warren; her sister Margo Huff of Virginia; her niece Debby and her husband Michael of Rockland, her nephew Peter and his wife Jenny Rubenstein of Camden, her godfather Ernie Hartt of New Mexico and siblings Maria Hartt of Iowa and Linda Harrt-Goggin of Texas, along with a host of beloved relatives and cherished friends.
