Open registration for the spring semester at the UMA Rockland Center begins November 10th. Midcoast students can access hundreds of classes through various instructional methods—web conferencing, online, and in person.

For the Spring ’26 semester, which begins January 20th, in-person courses will include Public Speaking, Computer Applications, U.S. History, College Writing, Statistics, Anatomy & Physiology, Psychology, and an Interdisciplinary course titled “On Happiness”.

“With the UMA Rockland Center right here, it is easy for folks to dip their toe into college and give it a try,”  said Center Director Chip Curry. “We even have a scholarship that fully covers one class, and a tuition waiver program for students over 65”.

For almost 50 years, the UMA Rockland Center has helped thousands of students in Knox, Lincoln & Waldo counties earn their degrees in pursuit of their personal and professional goals.

UMA offers Bachelor, Associate, Certificate, and Graduate programs ideal for those seeking to finish a degree, earn a degree after military service, pursue professional development required for promotion, or transition to a new career.
