BELFAST — The following cases were closed in Waldo County Unified Court Oct. 16-22. 

Lawrence R. Groves Jr., 60, of Belfast, operating under the influence in Lincolnville Sept. 13, 2024, dismissed. 

Steve R. French, 55, of Chelsea, theft by unauthorized taking or transfer in Liberty April 8, 145 days in jail and $4,375.13 restitution. 

Alphonse J. Seymour, 60, of Bangor, violating a condition of release in Belfast Sept. 6, $700 fine; disorderly conduct (offensive words/gestures) in Belfast Sept. 6, $250 fine. 

Jacob Young, 38, of Belmont, violating a protective order from harassment in Belmont Oct. 18, 48 hours in jail.
