Author Robert T. Kelley to speak of new novel at Jackson Memorial Library
On Wednesday, Oct. 29, at 5 p.m., the Jackson Memorial Library, in Tenants Harbor, will host a talk with author Robert T. Kelley on his soon-to-be released thriller Raven.
During the waning days of the Cold War and the dawning of the internet, computer hacker Raven has been selling high technology secrets to the Soviet Union and eluding capture by the FBI. Meanwhile, recently-expelled college student Mev Hayes unexpectedly lands a position at a top lab at MIT, where she’s encouraged to continue her controversial computer research. But when the search for Raven points her way, Mev finds that opportunity comes at a cost in a struggle for technological dominance.
Robert T. Kelley spent 30 years in the technology industry building multiple companies before turning to writing and working with startups. He lives in Midcoast Maine with his wife, writer Margot Anne Kelley, and an indeterminate number of cats.
This event is free of charge.
