Monroe Community Library Art Exhibit returns
The Monroe Community Library Art Exhibit is returning after a ten-year absence, Friday, Nov. 14, from 7 - 9 p.m., and Saturday, Nov. 15, from 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. Opening night will include light refreshments.
The exhibit features work by more than 18 Monroe artists, including Alison Rector, Forest Hart, and Kenny Cole. Also on display are artists new to Monroe, working in a variety of media. The exhibit includes paintings, sculpture, pottery, photography, book art, and more.
The exhibit is being held upstairs at the Monroe Town Hall and is accessible by elevator. Some of the work will be available for sale, with artists choosing to donate a portion of sales to the Library.
