What if your final act could be a gift to the planet? Presented by Midcoast Maine Green Burial, this event features the award-winning documentary A Will for the Woods, which follows musician, psychiatrist, and folk dancer Clark Wang as he prepares for his own green burial while battling lymphoma.
"With poignancy and unexpected humor, the film portrays one man's dream of leaving a legacy in harmony with timeless cycles—and one community's role in a revolutionary movement toward sustainable death care," said Green Burial, in a news release.
PANEL DISCUSSION: Following the screening, engage with content experts in green burial, death doulas, and home funerals as participants explore what it means to approach end-of-life planning with intention, sustainability, and spiritual meaning.
