Rockland Poetry Peers to read original poems about animals

Hot? Enjoy the "dog" days of summer with the Rockland Poetry Peers on Tuesday, Aug. 18, at 6 p.m., in Rockland Public Library’s Community Room.
Poetry Peers will present original poems about animals.
"There will be air conditioning, cold drinks, and great poetry," said the Library, in a news release.
This event is free and open to the public.
The Rockland Public Library is located at 80 Union Street.
