Don't miss this special evening with International Irish singer, Gabriel Donohue, Thursday, August 20th from 5:30 to 8:30PM at 727 Ocean Sunset Bar at Smuggler's Cove Inn. Gabriel always draws a big crowd and often brings along some surprise guests to make the evening even more fun.
Gabriel is a singer, songwriter-musician, and is renowned from the dance halls of Dublin, to the East Wing of the White House, along to the Irish pubs of Manhattan. He performs primarily on guitar and piano but also plays instruments ranging from bouzouki/mandolin to Irish and exotic percussion.
Gabriel brings a repertoire of over 2500 songs, and is able to instantly go from an Irish ballad, to your favorite Broadway tune , to a great rendition of some of Johnny Cash’s most beloved songs. He recently came off tour with the international women’s Irish Celtic Group, Cherish the Ladies.
Gabriel has recorded with the Boston Pops and spent three years on-the-road touring with the Grammy Award winning group, the Chieftains.
Gabriel has appeared on the “Tonight Show,” “CBS Morning Show,” the NBC “Today Show,” and many others. He performed with Michael Flatley at the National Heritage Awards in Washington, D.C. and with Eileen Ivers at the White House during the Clinton Administration.
