Cumberland & Knox Railroad acquires former Adirondack Railroad coaches for Rockland excursions

On Oct. 21, an article in Trains.com reported that, "Two former Adirondack Railroad coaches equipped with heating and air conditioning have arrived at Cumberland & Knox Railroad’s Rockland facility for excursion operations on the state-owned Rockland branch."
The service, according to author Bob Johnston, will known as “Pen Bay Scenic Railroad” and operated by the Rail Heritage Trust.
"This is the non-for-profit entity that also operates Belfast & Moosehead Lake Railroad passenger trips," wrote Johnston.
