The Edna Project sets the poetry of Edna St. Vincent Millay to music by Liz Queler and Seth Farber. This eclectic, imaginative celebration in song spans folk, bluegrass, rock and jazz.Partners in marriage and music, Liz and Seth are both three-time Grammy nominees. Heavy on harmonies with influences fromAppalachia, bluegrass and gospel, their music is infused with a rock sensibility, creating a soulful crossbetween Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young, Emmylou Harris and John Mayer. Sponsored by our Community Arts Fund and presented in partnership with The Millay House, a nonprofit organization that champions poets, as well as creators and practitioners of all the arts. Central to its mission is rejuvenating the literary landmark that is the birthplace of the Pulitzer Prize-winning poet: Edna St. Vincent Millay was born in Rockland, Maine, on Feb. 22, 1892. 

Gather for drinks before the show at First Fig, next to the opera house, named for the iconic Vincent poem.
