Belfast Police beat

    BELFAST — Belfast Police reported the following activity Jan. 25 - Feb. 3.

    An arrest or summons does not constitute a conviction, and those charged are considered innocent unless proven guilty in a court of law. Juveniles aged 17-or-younger are not named.

    Jan. 26

    Joanna Mehuren, 37, of Gouldsboro, was issued summonses for possession of a schedule W drug and violating a condition of release on Crocker Road. 

    Jan. 28

    Travis S. Dennison, 35, of Benson, was arrested for operating under the influence, operating after suspension, and violating a condition of release on High Street. 

    Jan. 30

    Joan Maddocks, 65, of Northport, was arrested for operating under the influence and violating a condition of release on Lincolnville Ave. Maddocks was also issued a summons Jan. 31, for violating a condition of release on Main Street. 

    Feb. 1

    James Johnson, 33, of Belfast, was issued a summons for theft by deception on Lincolnville Ave.
