Belfast Police beat
BELFAST — Belfast Police reported one traffic citation Aug. 4 - 10, for failure to provide proof of insurance. In addition to the single traffic citation, the following activity was reported.
An arrest or summons does not constitute a conviction, and those charged are considered innocent unless proven guilty in a court of law. Juveniles aged 17-or-younger are not named.
July 20 (late entry)
A Monroe minor was issued a summons for operating without a license (in violation of condition/restriction) on Poors Mill Road.
Aug. 4
Bridgett Sawyer, 29, was issued summonses for violating a condition of release and unlawful possession of a schedule W drug on Park Road.
Semonie Littlefield, 46, of Belfast, was issued summonses for unlawful trafficking of schedule W drugs and violating a condition of release on Belmont Ave.
Daniel V. Leach, 62, of Islesboro, was issued summonses for assault and theft on Main Street.
Aug. 7
Arthur M. Andrews, 36, of Camden, was arrested for domestic violence assault and violating a condition of release on Northport Ave.
Aug. 9
Eric S. Hopkins, 38, of Winslow, was issued a summons for theft on Starrett Drive.
