BELFAST — In addition to issuing two traffic citations unrelated to additional charges, Belfast police reported the following activity March 22 - April 2. An arrest does not constitute a conviction, and those charged are considered innocent unless proven guilty in a court of law. Juveniles age 17-or-younger are not named.

March 22

Elizabeth R. Evans, 31, of Augusta, was issued a summons for operating after suspension and a citation for a registration violation on Route 1. 

Benjamin R. Pendleton, 33, of Stockton Springs, was issued a summons for operating after suspension on Congress Street. 

March 24

Tyler J. Cherry, 22, of Swanville, was issued summonses for failure to provide proof of insurance, operating with an expired license, false attachment, 

March 26

Donald H. Resh Jr., 45, of Searsport, was issued summonses for unlawful possession of heroin and violating a condition of release on Main Street. 

March 28

Samuel P. Cook, 37, of Belfast, was issued summonses for operating after suspension, imprudent speed, operating an unregistered vehicle, and leaving the scene of a property damage accident on Mill Lane. 

Devin J. O’Brien, 25, of Stockton Springs, was issued summonses for violating a condition of release, operating after suspension, failure to stop for a police officer, and driving to endanger on Swan Lake Ave. 

April 1

Sidney Harris, 36, of Belfast, was issued summonses for operating after suspension and violating a condition of release on Doak Road.
