BELFAST — The Waldo County Sheriff’s Department reported the following activity Aug. 19-31.
An arrest or summons does not constitute a conviction, and those charged are considered innocent unless proven guilty in a court of law. Juveniles aged 17-or-younger are not named.
Aug. 19
Celynn D. Smyth, 39, of Troy, was issued a summons for theft by unauthorized taking or transfer on Plaza Drive in Unity.
Aug. 24
A Stockton Springs minor was issued summonses for unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, operating under the influence, and operating a vehicle without a license or permit on Church Street in Stockton Springs.
Aug. 25
Alia Wallace, 32, of Belfast, was issued a summons for leaving the scene of a property damage accident in Unity.
Aug. 28
Cheryl Jack, 62, of Palermo, was issued a summons for violating a protection from harassment order on Marden Hill Road in Palermo.
Tyler C. Barnes, 36, of China, was issued a summons for operating under the influence on Route 3 in Montville.
