BELFAST - The Waldo County Sheriff’s Department reported the following activity Aug. 14-21.
An arrest or summons does not constitute a conviction, and those charged are considered innocent unless proven guilty in a court of law. Juveniles aged 17-or-younger are not named.
Aug. 14
Gerard Allen, 41, of Troy, was issued a summons for operating under the influence on Troy Road in Troy.
Aug. 16
Charles A. Stair, 67, of Unity, was issued a summons for operating under the influence on Conifer Drive in Unity.
Aug. 18
Clyde E. Potter, 36, of Monroe, was arrested for operating under the influence on Marsh Stream Road in Frankfort.
Aug. 19
Astin L. Merry, 37, of Swanville, was issued a summons for operating after suspension on W. Main Street in Monroe.
Benjamin Young, 31, of Swanville, was issued a summons for operating after suspension on Monroe Highway in Brooks.
