Waldo County Sheriff’s beat
BELFAST — The Waldo County Sheriff’s Department reported two traffic infractions July 16-26, for speeding and failure to provide proof of insurance. In addition to the two traffic citations, the following activity was reported.
An arrest or summons does not constitute a conviction, and those charged are considered innocent unless proven guilty in a court of law. Juveniles aged 17-or-younger are not named.
July 16
Anthony Gathright, 20, of Winterport, was issued a summons for leaving the scene of an accident on Route 69 in Winterport.
July 23
Michelle Cogswell, 40, of Swanville, was issued a summons for operating after suspension on Nickerson Road in Belfast.
Tyler R. Ellsworth, 23, of Swanville, was issued a summons for operating after suspension on Swan Lake Ave in Swanville.
July 24
Brett I. Graff, 53, of Belfast, was issued a summons for operating under the influence on Route 1 in Stockton Springs.
July 25
Ronald N. Tower, 60, or Belmont, was issued summonses for violating a condition of release, operating under the influence on Back Belmont Road in Belmont.
