Waldo County Sheriff’s beat
BELFAST The Waldo County Sheriff’s Department reported the following activity June 27 - July 10.
An arrest or summons does not constitute a conviction, and those charged are considered innocent unless proven guilty in a court of law. Juveniles aged 17-or-younger are not named.
June 27
Robert M. Cushman, 32, of Belmont, was issued a summons for attaching false plates on Woodman Mill Road in Searsmont.
Davin Barnard, 18, of Montville, was issued a summons for operating without a license on Woodman Mill Road in Searsmont. Barnard was also issued a summons for failure to provide proof of insurance.
June 28
Matteo E. Albanese, 22, of Stockton Springs, was issued summonses for domestic violence criminal mischief, domestic violence assault, and two counts of criminal threatening with a dangerous weapon on Bangor Road in Stockton Springs.
June 30
Samantha Buchanan, 31, of Belfast, was issued a summons for operating with suspended registration on Kaler Road in Belfast. Buchanan was also issued a summons for failure to provide proof of insurance.
July 2
Matthew Small, 35, of Unity, was issued a summons for failure to give notice of an accident by the quickest means on Swanville Road in Frankfort.
July 3
Thomas M. Frost, 25, of Swanville, was arrested for aggravated assault and criminal threatening with a dangerous weapon on Swan Lake Ave in Swanville, stemming from an incident June 23.
