    BELFAST — The Waldo County Sheriff’s Department reported one traffic citation May 30 - June 10, for an inspection sticker violation. In addition to the traffic citation, the following activity was reported. 

    An arrest or summons does not constitute a conviction, and those charged are considered innocent unless proven guilty in a court of law. Juveniles aged 17-or-younger are not named.

    May 13 (late entry)

    Rory Mullen, 36, of Prospect, was arrested for theft, criminal mischief, domestic violence stalking, domestic violence terrorizing, and burglary, stemming from incidents that occurred on Route 174 in Prospect April 12.

    May 30

    Ronald W. Tower, 55, of Belmont, was issued a summons for violating a condition of release on Back Belmont Road in Belmont. 

    May 31

    Thomas Smith, 65, of Knox, was arrested for failure to report an accident and operating under the influence on Knox Station Road in Knox. 

    June 1

    April Ashmore, 40, of Orland, was issued a summons for criminal trespass on Bangor Road in Prospect. 

    June 2

    Christopher Springer, 28, of Swanville, was issued a summons for operating an ATV on a public way on Oak Hill Road in Swanville.
