    BELFAST — The Waldo County Sheriff’s Department reported three traffic infractions May 5-28, for an inspection sticker violation, a seatbelt violation, and failure to provide proof of insurance. In addition to the three citations, the following activity was reported.

    An arrest or summons does not constitute a conviction, and those charged are considered innocent unless proven guilty in a court of law. Juveniles aged 17-or-younger are not named.

    May 5

    Richard Palmer, 29, of Winterport, was issued summonses for obstructing the report of a crime, criminal mischief, theft by unauthorized taking, and violating a condition of release on Park Drive in Winterport. 

    May 6

    Douglas Doucette, 61, of Stockton Springs, was arrested for domestic violence assault on County Road in Stockton Springs.

    May 12

    Raymond Pomeroy, 36, of Stockton Springs, was arrested for criminal mischief and disorderly conduct on Cross Lane in Stockton Springs.

    May 18

    Lindsey Milliken, 38, of Brooks, was issued summonses for failure to register a motor vehicle and operating after suspension on Valley Road in Brooks.

    May 21

    Michael Knox, 50, of Unity, was arrested for operating under the influence on Bangor Road in Unity.
