BELFAST — The Waldo County Sheriff’s Department reported one traffic citation from Sept. 17-30, for failure to provide proof of insurance. In addition to the single citation, the following activity was reported.

An arrest or summons does not constitute a conviction, and those charged are considered innocent unless proven guilty in a court of law. Juveniles aged 17-or-younger are not named. 

Sept. 10

Dana Higgins, 19, of Morrill, was issued summonses for operating after revocation, illegal possession of alcohol by a minor, and operating under the influence on Augusta Road in Morrill.  

Sept. 22

Thadeus E. Macleod, 34, of Stockton Springs, was arrested for domestic violence assault on Cross Lane in Stockton Springs, stemming from an incident Sept. 20.

Sept. 23

Casey L. Rairdon, 31, of Swanville, was issued a summons for possession of a schedule W drug on Main Street in Liberty. 

 Sept. 27

Dustin T. Dolober, 33, of Belfast, was issued a summons for violation of bail on Main Street in Liberty.
