Knox County Court news: Stabbing in Union; man flips car causing property damage, breaks into home to elude police
ROCKLAND – The following comprises recent court activity in Knox County Court from Dec. 5-10, including an alleged stabbing in Union and man who fled the scene of an accident and broke into a home in Warren.
Woman charged with stabbing man in Union
A woman was arrested in Union Dec. 7 for allegedly stabbing a man.
Roxanne Beaucage, 27, of Union, was charged with robbery, domestic violence aggravated assault and falsifying physical evidence.
Knox County Sheriff’s Office responded to a reported incident at a residence in Union around 4 a.m. on Sunday, Dec. 7. When they arrived at the scene, deputies found a man sitting in a locked truck with a laceration in his right arm, according to the affidavit filed in court.
The victim told police that after an altercation Beaucage used a large kitchen knife to assault him.
The man was treated at Maine Health Pen Bay Hospital in Rockport.
Beaucage made her initial appearance in Knox County Court on Dec. 8 where Justice Jeffrey Hjelm set bail at $5,000 cash. She remains at the Knox County Jail and will be on supervised release after posting bail.
She is scheduled to appear in court again on Feb. 12, 2026, for a dispositional conference.
Warren man charged with flipping car, leaving the scene of an accident and breaking into a home
Knox County Sheriff Office responded to a single vehicle accident on Eastern Road in Warren Dec. 4 and arrested a man that flipped his car on its roof, left the scene of the accident, and then broke into a home.
Allen Fogg, 37, of Warren, was charged with criminal mischief, criminal trespass, leaving the scene of an accident with personal injury, leaving the scene of an accident with property damage, failure to report an accident, operating after suspension, and violation of condition of release.
According to the affidavit filed in court by police, a witness reported that two occupants of the vehicle, a man and a woman, fled from the accident and were running through neighboring yards.
A deputy found the woman walking barefoot along Eastern Road and appeared to be disheveled with blood on her face. Police said she admitted that she was a passenger in the vehicle, according to the court document.
The driver of the vehicle who also fled the scene was identified as Fogg from a nearby surveillance camera.
The crash damaged a fence and business sign at Jillian’s Pet Grooming and Boarding. Police said that no animals were injured in the incident. The initial estimate to the business is around $10,000 and the business will seek restitution.
Fogg was located by Rockland Police Officer Tim Davis and police canine Freya who were called to the scene. The suspect was tracked by Freya for over one mile. Police found Fogg hiding inside the front porch of a residence after he kicked in a door.
He was transported to Maine Health Pen Bay Hospital in Rockport by ambulance for treatment of his injuries and then was taken to the Knox County Jail.
Fogg made his initial appearance in Knox County Court Dec. 5 where his bail was set at $500 cash.
