Waldo County closed cases

    BELFAST — The following cases were closed in Waldo County Unified Court Nov. 23 - Dec. 4. 

    Caleb Roy, 28, of Burnham, probation violation in Burnham July 28, 2015, nine months in jail, probation partially revoked and continued; theft by unauthorized taking or transfer in Burnham June 15, six months in jail. 

    Timothy P. Gotham, of Belfast, operating under the influence Aug. 4, 2016, 72 hours in jail, license suspended for 150 days, and $900 fine. 

    Kyle L. Downs, 28, of Brooks, probation violation in Knox April 12, 2018, nine months in jail, probation partially revoked and continued. 

    Austin McDevitt, 24, of Belmont, murder in Swanville March 15, 2019, 29 years in prison, and $1,468.67 restitution. 

    Nadia Carter, 28, of Boothbay, operating under the influence in Unity Oct. 6, 2019, 180 days in jail with all but seven days suspended, one year of probation, license suspended for three years, registration suspended, and $700 fine. 

    Damien M. Ward, 32, of Winterport, disorderly conduct (offensive words/gestures) in Winterport Oct. 15, 2019, $300 fine; assault in Winterport Oct. 15, 2019, dismissed; reckless conduct in Winterport Oct. 15, 2019, dismissed. 

    Patricia A. Parker, 41, of Frankfort, violating a protection from abuse order in Frankfort Nov. 24, 2019, dismissed. 

    Scott J. Tedesco, 59, of Unity, unlawful sexual touching in Unity Nov. 11, 2019, dismissed. 

    Ashleigh M. Gibbs, 30, of Brooks, probation violation in Stockton Springs Dec. 11, 2019, six months in jail, probation partially revoked and continued; unlawful possession of a scheduled drug in Brooks Sept. 29, 90 days in jail and $400 fine; violating a condition of release in Brooks Sept. 29, 90 days in jail. . 

    Stephen J. Davis, 24, of Stockton Springs, unlawful trafficking in scheduled drugs in Stockton Springs Dec. 4, 2019, four years in prison with all but 12 months suspended, three years of probation, and $400 fine; unlawful trafficking in Stockton Springs Jan. 6, 12 months in prison and $400 fine. 

    Justin Pratt, 23, of Bangor, assault in Winterport March 15, seven days in jail and $300 fine; criminal mischief in Winterport March 15, two days in jail; criminal trespass in Winterport March 15, dismissed. 

    Scott E. Wiseman, 24, of Swanville, operating under the influence in Swanville June 14, seven days in jail, license suspended for three years, registration suspended, and $900 fine; violating a condition of release in Belfast June 28, 48 hours in jail.

    Thomas H. Bassler, 69, of Belmont, operating under the influence in Belfast June 8, 60 days in jail with all but seven days suspended, one year of probation, license suspended for three years, and $700 fine; operating a vehicle without a license (beyond conditions/restrictions) in Belfast June 8, 48 hours in jail; failing to make an oral or written accident report in Lincolnville April 27, dismissed.

    Michael J. Carter, 39, of Hermon, aggravated assault in Winterport July 10, dismissed. 

    James D. Francis, 35, of Bucksport, theft by unauthorized taking or transfer in Swanville April 6, $250 fine. 

    Linda J. Farias, 66, of Stockton Springs, operating under the influence in Searsport June 11, 48 hours in jail, license suspended for 150 days, and $500 fine. 

    Joseph Frost, 42, of Belmont, operating under the influence in Belfast May 30, dismissed. 

    Troy E. Bryant, 45, of Belfast, operating after habitual offender revocation in Belfast June 23, 30 days in jail and $500 fine; theft by unauthorized taking or transfer in Belfast June 11, 48 hours in jail and $200 restitution; violating a condition of release in Belfast Oct. 2, dismissed. 

    Jamie D. Moore, 27, of Verona, theft by unauthorized use of property in Searsport Aug. 3, seven months in jail. 

    Brandon Gilman, 22, of Unity, allowing a minor to possess or consume liquor in Unity Aug. 1, $1,000 fine; violating a condition of release in Unity Aug. 1, $250 fine. 

    Miranda Hurd, 24, of Liberty, assault in Liberty Sept. 9, dismissed; criminal trespass in Liberty Sept. 9, dismissed; criminal mischief in Liberty Sept. 9, dismissed.

    Philip J. Dulude, 52, of Swanville, violating a condition of release in Belfast Nov. 27, four days in jail.
