The Town of Camden is hosting a “Get to Know the New Gould Street” event, with Public Works Director Dave St. Laurent and Engineer Justin Gove, on Wednesday, Aug. 13, at 10 a.m. Learn more about the work recently completed to improve the drainage with new catch basins and ditching, to rebuild existing and install some new sidewalks, and the first phase of rehabbing the road surface. This is an opportunity to check it out before it's buttoned up until spring, when final paving will happen.

Public Works regularly surveys and monitors all 38 miles of Camden roads, paying special attention during storm events that deliver unusually high amounts of water and test road surfaces and drainage systems. Come out and check out the recent project, ask your questions and learn more about the town’s work.
