'Caribou for Breakfast and Clams for Dinner' history talk with Kerry Hardy

The public is invited to attend the next meeting of the Hope Historical Society, Tuesday, Aug. 19, 2025. There will be a business meeting at 6:30 p.m., followed by guest speaker Kerry Hardy at 7 p.m. (Lincolnville native, lead researcher and cartographer of the New York-based Public History Project).
Hardy’s slide presentation, “Caribou for Breakfast and Clams for Dinner,” tells the story about how the earliest Indigenous people in the Northeast adapted their lifestyle and habitations in the rapidly changing landscape and climate as the last glacier retreated.
Please note: The meeting will be held at the Hope Fire Station, Hope Corner.
