Comedian Dulcé Sloan at Strand Theatre, Aug. 8
Emmy Award winning comedian Dulcé Sloan will take the Strand Theatre stage on Friday, Aug. 8, at 7:30 p.m. The two-time NAACP Image Award winner is known for offering a fresh and honest perspective that eviscerates the status quo, according to the Strand, in a news release.
As a correspondent on Comedy Central’s The Daily Show with Trevor Noah from 2017-2023, Sloan’s segments garnered millions of views.
Dulcé Sloan can currently be seen in the FOX animated series “Great North” alongside Jenny Slate and Will Forte. She is featured in Netflix’s most recent stand-up series VERIFIED, and she can also be seen in the feature film Chick Fight alongside Malin Ackerman and Alec Baldwin. Sloan is a regular on NPR’s “Wait Wait Don’t Tell Me!” and has also appeared multiple times on the CNN New Year’s Eve Special with Anderson Cooper and Andy Cohen, Netflix’s “Dinner Time Live,” CBS’ “After Midnight,” and has made multiple appearances as a correspondent on “E! News Daily”.
