Insect Bonanza with Coastal Mountains Land Trust
Coastal Mountains Land Trust presents Insect Bonanza, a guided walk at the Head of Tide Preserve in Belfast, Saturday, Aug. 9, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.
This bug-themed outing will be led by Naturalist Roger Rittmaster and members of the Maine Entomological Society, exploring a wide array of insect habitats during peak butterfly diversity in Midcoast Maine.

DIRECTIONS
From downtown Belfast, take Main Street west and immediately turn right onto Waldo Avenue. In 1.5 miles, turn right onto Doak Road. Parking area is on the right immediately after Doak’s Machine Shop.
Coastal Mountains Land Trust has worked since 1986 to permanently conserve land to benefit the natural and human communities of the western Penobscot Bay. The Land Trust has protected over 13,000 acres to date, offering 55+ miles of trails for public access.
