Hannah Howland leads 'Native Perennials for Every Garden' at Merryspring
Hannah Howland will lead an outdoor presentation on Native Perennials for Every Garden, Tuesday, Aug. 19, at 12 p.m., at Merryspring Nature Center.
Hannah Howland is a third-generation horticulturist. She inherited her passion for plants from her father and grandfather while growing up in their family-owned garden center in western Massachusetts. She has a bachelor’s degree in Environmental Horticulture from the University of Maine.
Howland is the perennial manager at Plants Unlimited in Rockport and she loves putting her skills to work guiding clients to find the right plants for their projects. Howland is especially passionate about finding new and modern ways to incorporate our Maine natives into designed landscapes.
This in-person talk is part of the Summer Talk Series co-sponsored by Reny’s – A Maine Adventure and Camden Riverhouse Hotel.
Attendance is free for members; $10 for non-members.
