Rockland Police arrest two on drug charges; crack, cocaine, heroin/fentanyl
ROCKLAND — The Rockland Police Department posts its arrests on its social media Facebook page. On April 28, the department reported there:
DRUG TRAFFICKING ARREST: On April 28, around 3:15 p.m., Rockland Police executed a search warrant on Thomaston Street, in reference to an on-going criminal investigation into drug trafficking.
Officers located and seized both crack and powder cocaine, as well as heroin/fentanyl.
Charles Dodge, 43, of Rockland, was arrested and charged with Felony Unlawful Trafficking in Scheduled Drugs and Violation of Conditions of Release. At the time of his arrest, Dodge was out on several sets of conditions of release, including prior felony drugs charges and prior violation of conditions of release.
At the time of this post, Dodge remains held at the Knox County Holding Facility.
Krysti Hallett, 42, of Rockland, was charged with Unlawful Possession and Violation of Conditions of Release.
"Rockland Police often receive information and complaints from citizens regarding locations around the city that are suspected to be involved in drug trafficking or similar quality of life issues," the Rockland PD sasid. "Although this information and these types of investigations are not uncommon, we want to re-affirm our commitment to using a multifaceted and proactive approach to address these types of issues as they arise.
"Rockland Police have made multiple narcotics arrests through proactive and directed patrols and executed a number of narcotics related search warrants in the past year. Rockland Police Department also continues to work with Rockland Code Enforcement, landlords and property owners to address nuisance properties and continue to work with our partners in the recovery community to provide resources to those suffering from substance use who wish to seek treatment."
