Rhiannon Hampson will be a responsive and responsible legislator
I am happy to endorse an experienced organic farmer seeking to represent local towns in the State Legislature. Her name is Rhiannon Hampson, a Mainer with a passion for public service who is hoping to represent House District 43, an open seat in the November election. The District includes her home town of Thomaston, plus Cushing, South Thomaston, St.George and part of Owls Head.
A Maine native, Rhiannon has worked in public policy, helping high school students with nutrition, and worked with adults experiencing mental and physical challenges. She supports small farmers, the coastal fishing industry, loggers, family businesses and everyone who lives in the district, working or retired. Importantly, she is a good listener, is serious about serving our communities, and has delightful sense of humor.
Rhiannon operates Grace Pond Farm with her husband, Gregg.
I encourage my neighbors in District 43 to vote for Rhiannon in the Democratic primary, June 9. You don't have to be enrolled as a Democrat to vote for her. She will be a responsive and responsible legislator.
