'Inflation-Free Book and Bake Sale' at Rockland library

Saturday, April 18, 2026 - 11:00 am to 03:00 pmFriends of Rockland Public Library announces an inflation-free book and bake sale Saturday, April 18, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. (members shop at 10:30), in the Community Room downstairs at the library at 80 Union Street.
Browse thousands of books in dozens of genres and fill your bag with quality used books for a bargain $10.
"Discover good reads from contemporary fiction to classics, biography to true crime, art to crafts, DIY to travel, and so much more for readers of all ages," said Friends, in a news release. "The bake sale offers delicious homemade treats, all created by community volunteers."
FRPL members enjoy early-bird shopping at 10:30 a.m. Memberships start at $10, with onsite registration available at the sale. To save more time for shopping, register or renew membership in advance at https://friendsofrocklandpubliclibrary.org/become-a-friend.
Friends of Rockland Public Library is an all-volunteer 501(c)(3) charitable organization, and all sale proceeds support the library.
