Bradford R. Gregory, obituary
ROCKPORT — Bradford R. Gregory, 82, passed away peacefully on July 29, 2025, at the Sussman House surrounded by his daughter and granddaughters.
Born on May 27, 1943, in Rockland, Bradford was a lifelong resident of Rockport. He was educated in local schools and graduated in 1962. His roots ran deep in the community he called home for over eight decades.

Bradford—known affectionately to many as Brad—was known for his independent spirit and love of simple pleasures. A familiar sight in his favorite recliner with Gunsmoke playing in the background, he found joy in quiet moments and the comfort of routine. His steady presence and fondness for Westerns left a lasting impression on those around him.
Brad is lovingly remembered by his daughters Sharlene Beal and her husband Nate of Union, Billiejoe Marr of Rockport, Michelle Knight of Rockland, Amber Scott and her husband Ben of Waldoboro. His legacy continues through numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren who brought light to his later years.
He was predeceased by his parents, Herbert and Laura Gregory of Rockport; his sister Wanda Orr of Rockport; and his daughter Heather Gregory of Owls Head. Also remembered is his cherished companion Chico.
A graveside service will be held Tuesday, August 12, 2025, at 11 a.m., at Glen Cove Cemetery, Warrenton Avenue in Rockport.
