Belfast Police beat
BELFAST Belfast Police reported five traffic infractions July 7-21, for the following reasons: two citations were issued for speeding, two citations were issued for inspection sticker violations, and the final citation was issued for operating a motor vehicle while using a handheld device. In addition to the five traffic citations, the following activity was reported.
An arrest or summons does not constitute a conviction, and those charged are considered innocent unless proven guilty in a court of law. Juveniles aged 17-or-younger are not named.
July 7
Adam Hauk, 34, of Swanville, was issued a summons for unlawful possession of a scheduled W drug on Waterville Road.
July 12
Dakota Hustus, 24, of Belfast, was issued a summons for operating after suspension on Back Searsport Road. Hustus was also issued two traffic citations, for speeding and failure to provide proof of insurance.
July 14
Margaret A. Souza, 35, of Prospect, was issued a summons for operating after habitual offender revocation on High Street.
July 16
Harmony S. Palmer, 33, of Swanville, was arrested for domestic violence assault.
July 17
Elvis N. Robbins, 67, of Belfast, was issued a summons for indecent conduct in Belfast.
July 18
Ashley E. Wood, 38, of Belfast, was arrested for violating a condition of release on City Point Road. Wood was also issued a summons July 15 for the same charge.
Gary Robbins, 33, of Stockton Springs, was arrested for failure to appear.
