Belfast Police beat

    BELFAST — Belfast Police reported one traffic infraction May 9-20, for speeding. In addition to the lone citation, the following activity was reported. 

    An arrest or summons does not constitute a conviction, and those charged are considered innocent unless proven guilty in a court of law. Juveniles aged 17-or-younger are not named.

    May 9

    Heather M. Pochop, 33, of Belfast, was arrested for domestic violence assault on Belmont Ave. 

    May 12

    Nicholas R. Chesser, 25, of Elyria, Ohio, was arrested for violating a condition of release on Swan Lake Ave.

    May 13

    David J. Pike, 34, of Portland, was arrested for violating a condition of release and operating after suspension on Belmont Ave. 

    May 15

    Laurie Kilby, 33, of Swanville, was issued a summons for leaving the scene of a property damage accident on City Point Road.
