Belfast Police beat

    BELFAST — Belfast Police reported three traffic infractions from April 30 through May 12, with the citations issued for failure to provide proof of insurance, operating after suspension, and an inspection sticker violation. In addition to the three citations, the following activity was reported.

    An arrest or summons does not constitute a conviction, and those charged are considered innocent unless proven guilty in a court of law. Juveniles aged 17-or-younger are not named.

    April 30

    Richard C. Brown Jr., 25, of Belfast, was arrested for violating a condition of release on High Street. 

    May 3

    Philip Dulude, 53, of Belfast, was issued summonses for violating a condition of release, and criminal trespass on Searsport Ave. 

    May 7

    Wyatt J. Staples, 21, of Morrill, was issued a summons for criminal speed on Crocker Lane.

    Kaycee L. Hamilton, 28, of Biddeford, was issued a summons for operating an unregistered motor vehicle on Route 1. 

    Herbert Staples, 76, of Belfast, was issued summonses for keepings a dangerous dog and having dogs at large on Swan Lake Ave.
