Merryspring Nature Center will host a family Summer Ecology Walk as part of its Free Family Fridays series on Friday, June 19 at 10:00 am.

This easy walk through Merryspring’s meadows and forests is a great introduction to the Nature Center for children, families, and people of all ages. Attendees will discover evidence of animals, listen for birds, see blooming wildflowers, and learn about some of the park’s most interesting natural and man-made features. A brief tutorial on using Merryspring’s live google maps will also be available.

This program is outdoors. Guests must wear weather-appropriate clothing, sturdy shoes, and be prepared to walk for one hour. In the event of rain, this program will be canceled. Free Family Fridays will take place at Merryspring on select July and August Fridays at 10 am and are sponsored by First National Bank, Allen Insurance & Financial, and Camden Riverhouse Hotel.
