Molly Williams’ hat trick boosts Schooners past Riverhawks

NORTHPORT — The Medomak Middle School girls soccer team traveled to Point Lookout in Northport for a showdown Monday, Sept. 27 against Camden-Rockport.
Molly Williams of Camden-Rockport was the first to score in the contest giving the Schooners a 1-0 advantage. She once again found the back of the next later in the opening half to boost the Camden-Rockport lead to 2-0.
Scarlett Flint got the Riverhawks on the board about seven minutes into the second half.
Williams tallied a third goal, good for a hat trick, with about five minutes remaining in the contest to seal the 3-1 victory for the Schooners.
