You can't do better than Mike Ray as your state representative
I wrote a letter to the editor two years ago when Mike Ray first ran for the State House, he won, and he proved my faith in him. The work he did in preparation and the work he did in his committee made him a stellar legislator. He knows how to write a good bill and how to bring that bill all the way to the Governor’s desk.
To write a good bill, you have to know the needs of your constituents and the needs of the State of Maine. I first met Mike at the Waldo County Woodshed, volunteering to help Maine people heat their homes by cutting and splitting wood to go in their stoves.
He has presented bills these last two years to strengthen wood banks all over Maine and especially for his District 40 constituents in Appleton, Islesboro, Liberty, Lincolnville, Montville, Morrill and Searsmont.
His work as a Select Board member for his town and as a member of the Maine Municipal Association gave him the background to know how his actions in Augusta would affect the health and income of the people back home. That knowledge shows Mike will be ready again when the voters of District 40 send him back to Augusta. Mike is honest, hardworking and bright. You can't do better than Mike as your state representative.
