Midcoast Maine Green Burial, a local volunteer organization formed to promote the creation of a green burial cemetery in Knox, Waldo, and/or Lincoln County, will host a free public presentation about green burial, Monday, Aug. 31, at 6 p.m., in the Abbott Room at Belfast Free Library, 106 High Street.

Judith Soleil, president of the organization, will offer a narrated PowerPoint presentation and answer questions.
