Watts Hall Band dance party to complete 2024-2025 season
Watts Hall Community Arts is sending off its 2024-2025 season in style with the return of the Watts Hall Band for a Dance Party on Friday, Sept. 26, at 7 p.m. This high-energy night of music and dancing will be the final public event at Watts Hall before the venue closes for 4–6 months of renovations.
"The Watts Hall Band, a powerhouse 12-piece ensemble, is known for filling the dance floor with their signature blend of rock, blues, and R&B favorites," said Watts Hall Community Arts. "With soaring vocals, a full horn section, soulful saxophone solos, blistering guitar leads, and keyboards that keep the energy rolling, the band delivers a legendary party atmosphere that Midcoast audiences can’t get enough of."
Guests will enjoy a beer and wine cash bar, along with light concessions available for purchase. The party kicks off when doors open at 6:30 p.m., and the music starts at 7 p.m. While this is a community celebration, the recommended age for the event is 18+, and alcohol service will be available only to guests 21+ with valid ID.
Tickets are $22 in advance and $27 the day of the show, if available. Watts Hall Band Dance Parties frequently sell out, so advance purchase is strongly encouraged, according to Community Arts. Tickets can be purchased online at: https://wattshallcommunityarts.thundertix.com/events/252977
Free parking is available behind the business block on the side of Route 1 opposite Watts Hall. For questions, email Managing Director Kendray Rodriguez at wattshallcommunityarts@gmail.com
