Uproot for Recovery pizza fundraiser to benefit Coastal Recovery Community Center
The Uproot Pie Co., is hosting an Uproot for Recovery pizza night fundraiser to benefit Coastal Recovery Community Center (CRCC), Friday, Sept. 12, from 4 to 8 p.m., at The Carriage House, 9 Green Street, Thomaston. A portion of sales that night will support
CRCC programs.
"Never been to The Uproot Pie Co.?" said a news release. "Owner and local, Jess Shepard, and her team bring their passion about sustainable food, and wood-fired ovens to our midcoast community."
The Uproot Pie Co., has a brick ‘n’ mortar home in Thomaston, but Shepard is all about, ‘have oven, will travel.’ You can find her and her team offering artisan wood-fired oven pizzas at farmers markets and they even cater events.
