BELFAST — The following indictments were handed up by a Waldo County grand jury July 24.
Francis Meriza Mendez-Tejeda, 52, of Methuen, Massachusetts, aggravated trafficking in scheduled drugs in Waldo County July 13; unlawful trafficking of scheduled drugs in Waldo County July 13.
David J. Pittman, 43, of Belfast, unlawful furnishing of scheduled drugs in Waldo County June 25; possession of a firearm by a prohibited person in Waldo County June 25; unlawful possession of a scheduled drug in Waldo County June 25.
Timothy G. Daley Jr., 45, of Frankfort, two counts of aggravated trafficking in scheduled drugs in Waldo County between April 14, and June 17.
Casey L. Philbrook, 38, of Frankfort, two counts of aggravated trafficking in scheduled drugs in Waldo County between April 14, and June 17.
Larry Metcalf, 80, of Swanville, two counts of aggravated trafficking in scheduled drugs in Waldo County between April 14, and June 17.
Benjamin Harvey, 20, of Jackson, theft by unauthorized taking or transfer in Searsport Feb. 21; forgery in Searsport Feb. 21; tampering with a witness or informant in Searsport Feb. 21.
Juan A. Arias Almonte, 31, of Dorchester, Massachusetts, aggravated trafficking in scheduled drugs in Waldo County July 8; unlawful possession of scheduled drugs in Waldo County July 8.
Jackson Bennett, 19, of Searsport, two counts of aggravated assault in Searsport July 7; assault on an officer in Searsport July 7; criminal mischief in Searsport July 7; criminal trespass in Searsport July 7; refusing to submit to arrest or detention in Searsport July 7.
Eduin E. Chala-Ramirez, 30, of Boston, two counts of aggravated trafficking in scheduled drugs in Waldo County between April 14, and June 17.
Raymond D. Cohen, 37, of Plymouth, burglary in Belfast July 1.
Sean Cookson, 40, of Searsport, two counts of unlawful sexual contact in Searsport on or between June 24, 2025, and June 24.
James R. Durand, 35, of Burnham, unlawful trafficking of scheduled drugs in Waldo County June 16.
Michael W. Embry, 26, of Unity, unlawful possession of scheduled drugs in Thorndike May 4.
Jesse L. Fuller, 33, of Belfast, aggravated trafficking in scheduled drugs in Waldo County April 18; possession of a firearm by a prohibited person in Waldo County April 18; criminal forfeiture in Waldo County April 18.
Frank H. Gallagher, 57, of Northport, possession of a firearm by a prohibited person in Northport July 13.
Michael Hardy, 29, of Dixmont, two counts of unlawful possession of scheduled drugs in Swanville Feb. 5; unlawful furnishing of drugs in Swanville Feb. 5; violating a condition of release in Swanville Feb. 5.
Erica R. Leach, 37, of Belmont, endangering the welfare of a child in Lincolnville June 9; aggravated unlawful furnishing of a scheduled drug in Lincolnville June 9.
