BELFAST — The following cases were closed in Waldo County Unified Court April 8-14.
Leon A. Rancourt Jr., 56, of Swanville, theft by unauthorized taking or transfer in Swanville June 2, 2022, unconditional discharge; home repair fraud in Swanville June 2, 2022, unconditional discharge; six counts of negotiating a worthless instrument in Troy Sept. 9, 2023, Sept. 11, 2023, Sept. 12, 2023, and Sept. 13, 2023, $250 fine for each count.
Christopher D. Andrews, 46, of Washington, operating a vehicle without a license (beyond condition/restriction) in Liberty March 30, 2024, $100 fine.
Savannah Hallock, 28, of Fairfield, operating under the influence in Unity Oct. 12, 2024, dismissed; driving to endanger in Unity Oct. 12, 2024, license suspended for 30 days and $575 fine.
Jason M. Taylor, 49, of Belfast, theft by unauthorized taking or transfer in Belfast Oct. 31, 2024, 48 hours in jail.
Joshua A. Kaufmann, 39, of Liberty, eluding an officer in Belmont Dec. 14., 2024, 18 months in prison with all but 60 days suspended and two years of probation; unlawful possession of methamphetamine in Belmont Dec. 14., 2024, dismissed; operating under the influence in Belmont Dec. 14., 2024, 30 days in jail, license suspended for 150 days, and $500 fine; motor vehicle speeding 30+ mph over the speed limit in Belmont Dec. 14, 2024, 30 days in jail; driving to endanger in Belmont Dec. 14, 2024, dismissed.
Adam M. Cordova, 29, of Madison, operating while license suspended or revoked in Thorndike Jan. 10, 2025, $250 fine.
John M. Williams, 31, of Belfast, operating while license suspended or revoked in Belfast Jan. 24, 2025, dismissed.
Joshua D. Maloon, 39, of Waldo, operating after habitual offender revocation in Belfast April 21, 2025, dismissed; driving to endanger in Belfast April 21, 2025, license suspended for 30 days and $575 fine.
Keith A. Welch, 84, of Belfast, possessing sexually explicit material of a minor under 12 in Belfast July 8, 2024, three years in prison with all but 30 days suspended, and two years of probation.
Derek Skillings, 33, of Frankfort, domestic violence terrorizing in Frankfort Sept. 23, 364 days in jail with all but 30 days suspended and two years of probation; domestic violence assault in Frankfort Sept. 23, 30 days in jail; domestic violence assault in Frankfort March 31, dismissed; domestic violence criminal threatening in Frankfort March 31, dismissed; violating a condition of release in Frankfort March 31, 14 days in jail.
Jennifer B. Totton, 42, of Jackson, operating under the influence in Belfast Oct. 16, $1,000 fine.
Troy S. Applegate, 50, of Monroe, displaying a fictitious vehicle certificate in Swanville Aug. 12, dismissed; attaching false plates in Swanville Aug. 12, $200 fine.
Dustin Whitcomb, 30, of Whitefield, theft by unauthorized taking or transfer in Unity Jan. 6, two years in prison with all but 30 days suspended, and three years of probation; violating a condition of release in Unity Jan. 6, 30 days in jail.
Larry M. Phillips, 40, of Searsport, operating under the influence in Searsport Jan. 19, 180 days in jail with all but seven days suspended, one year of probation, license suspended for three years, and $700 fine.
Alexander Delgado, 40, of Verona, operating a vehicle without a license in Belmont Dec. 13, $150 fine.
Seamus L. Kiernan, 46, of Waldo, violating a condition of release in Belfast Nov. 20, $500 fine.
Isaiah R. Pottle, 37, of Lincolnville, failing to make an oral or written accident report in Searsmont Dec. 5, dismissed; failing to register a vehicle within 30 days in Searsport Dec. 2, dismissed; driving to endanger in Searsmont Dec. 5, license suspended for 30 days and $575 fine.
Cyrus Resh, 24, of Searsport, criminal mischief in Searsport July 16, $1,000 restitution and unconditional discharge; driving to endanger in Searsport July 16, license suspended for 150 days and $575 fine.
Myles R. Rehlander, 41, of Belfast, criminal trespass in Belfast Jan. 14, $250 fine.
Taylor McGinnis, 37, of Belfast, criminal mischief in Belfast Feb. 21, $150 fine.
John N. Penney Jr., 37, of Knox, violating a condition of release in Brooks Feb. 3, $750 fine; operating while license suspended or revoked in Brooks Feb. 3, $750 fine; violating a condition in Brooks Feb. 5, $750 fine; operating while license suspended or revoked in Brooks Feb. 5, $750 fine.
John K. Thompson, 45, of Palermo, allowing a dog to be at large in Palermo Feb. 11, $50 fine.
