Celebrate Earth Day on April 18 by joining a heartfelt community gathering that offers gratitude for nature, to nature, through spoken works and music, according to Julie Sells, in a news release.

Sells, of Aligned by Nature, hosts the April 18 event, from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m., at Merryspring Nature Center’s Ross Center, 30 Conway Road in Camden. 

This special gathering will feature a variety of offerings, including musical performances, forest bathing practices, and reflective readings. Each presenter will share their unique talents and appreciation in honor of Earth Day. Featured presenters include Michele DiGirolamo (guided meditation and forest bathing), Catherine Dowdell (poetry readings), Leslie Ferguson (inspirational readings), Jennifer Feldman and Sam Grinnell (voice and guitar duet), and Jan Zimmermann and Julie Sells (flute duet).

Space is limited, and advance registration is encouraged. Admission is by donation, with proceeds supporting environmental stewardship organizations, including Merryspring Nature Center, Coastal Mountains Land Trust, Georges River Land Trust, Land Peace Fopundation, and the Organization of Nature Revolutionaries.
