'The Fairy Doll' ballet

Saturday, April 11, 2026 - 05:00 pmThe Atlantic Ballet and MidCoast Ballet will present the ballet “The Fairy Doll” directed by Julie Fajardo of the Boston Ballet. The performance is on Saturday, April 11, at 5 p.m. at Pascal Hall in Rockport and will be joined by the following guest artists.
Heather Cox will dance the role of the Fairy Doll. She studied with Nutmeg Ballet and is the Artistic Director of the Atlantic Ballet.
Natalie Buntin will also dance as a doll in The Fairy Doll and studied with MidCoast Ballet and is currently studying at Central Pennsylvania Youth Ballet.
Paloma Killoran is a former student with both Atlantic Ballet and MidCoast Ballet and currently studying at the Bossov Ballet. She will dance a Tarantella accompanied by Ronan Sands on cello.
Ronan Sands is a young cellist who recently was awarded the Future in Music Prize from Young Stars of Maine and first place in the Maine High School Concerto Competition. He currently studies at Bay Chamber Music School.
Fiddlers Sea Strings, of Belfast, and led by Kay Zegel, will perform several rousing fiddle pieces.
Mark Lewis on trumpet is a local musician who plays regularly with The Watts Hall Band, the Midcoast Community Band, and has played with the Mondaynite Jazz Orchestra, Opus One Big Band, among other musical groups. In his spare time he is a physical therapist at Continuum PT. He is also the proud father of Meredith Lewis who dances in the Fairy Doll.
Singer Abbie Kilbride, 15, is a freshman attending Maine Arts Academy. She had previously trained with vocal coach Kathryn DerMarderosian and now is singing in her High School.
