LINCOLNVILLE — The Troy Howard eighth grade girls basketball team traveled to Lincolnville for a Busline League contest Wednesday, Jan. 8 against Lincolnville Central School. 

Lincolnville held leads of 9-8 and 18-14 following the first and second quarters, respectively, before Troy Howard had a 30-28 lead after the third. 

When the contest concluded, Troy Howard had collected a 40-39 victory. 

Scoring for Lincolnville were Jaden Johnson (17 points), Roo Boetsch (13), Grace Moody (five) and Natalie Bolduc (four).

Scoring for Troy Howard were Danica Gray (17 points), Bre Shorey (12), Audrey Goodwin (four), Kaelynn Beeton (four), Maddie Dean (two) and Ava Markam (one).

The next game for Lincolnville will be Friday, Jan. 10 at home against Searsport.

The next game for Troy Howard will be Friday, Jan. 10 on the road against Appleton.
