The Busline League middle school basketball season came to a close Saturday, Feb. 11 with the league championships held at Camden-Rockport Middle School. 

8th boys: Oceanside 77, Medomak 68

The Oceanside eighth grade boys capped off the 2023 season undefeated at 13-0 and with a Busline League championship. 

Oceanside held quarterly advantages of 22-21, 40-39 and 59-57. 

Scoring for Oceanside were Alonzo Hoose (29), Trevin Ripley (18), Nicholas Tripp (10), Sebastian Olson (10), Maddox Lowell (seven), Keagan Simms (two) and Grady Geretz (one). 

Scoring for Medomak were Brayden Nadeau (13), Landon Starr (13), Noah Taggert (11), Kollin Donlin (eight), Landon Morrison (eight), Clark Elwell (seven), Liam Feeley (four), Gavin Taggert (two) and Zachary Curtis (two).

7th girls: Medomak 30, Oceanside 26

Oceanside held a 6-2 lead after the first quarter before Medomak took a 14-8 lead into the halftime break. After the third quarter, Medomak held a 21-18 advantage. 

Scoring for Medomak were Brianna Neal (two), Aubrey Court (six), Anna Reed (six), Sienna Lee (three), Olivia Campbell (three) and Kyli Jones (two). 

Scoring for Oceanside were Olivia Breen (15), Autumn Quinn (eight), Payson Stackpole (two) and Mariah Caven-Gardiner (one).
